Every 52 minutes someone in the US dies in a drunk driver crash, and yet I walked away from this high speed crash physically unharmed. I learned to face this adversity by becoming a volunteer speaker for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, sharing the harrowing experience with audiences of MADD. I had found this to be very therapeutic, and I am working hard to help others do the same with their own version of adversity.
