An accomplished risk and claims manager, Nancy authored scores of risk-management related articles, White Papers and has presented for organizations like the Public Risk Manager Association (PRIMA) and the Society for Human Resources.
Nancy’s talks focus on managing risk in today’s increasingly complex society and the challenges employers face in managing today’s younger and more diverse workforce. She is the author of Workers Compensation in Two Hours: A Business Owners Guide to an Exceptional Workers Compensation Program.
Nancy is the former Public Risk Manager’s Association Arizona chapter president and the first risk manager of the City of Prescott, Arizona. In 1997, she founded Insurance Writer to assist insurance organizations in better managing their risk and improving their claims operations.
Nancy holds a Master’s Degree in sociology and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources, the SHRM Senior Certified Professional, the Associate in Risk Management and the Associate in Claims Designation. She also holds the Insurance Training Professional designation from Society of Insurance Trainers and Educators (SITE).
